WikiHouse
With Architecturally skilled Staff and large scale CNC routers at the heart of our workshop, Monarú is perfectly positioned to produce a WikiHouse for you.
We are part of a global distributed network of small, local CNC fabricators approved to produce the WikiHouse system.
If you would like us to produce a WikiHouse for you, please send the details to us via email: studio@monaru.ie

WikiHouse is a modular system for creating beautiful, high-performance, zero-carbon buildings.
WikiHouse uses digital fabrication to create timber building components that can be assembled in hours, to millimetre precision. Using tested, standardised components, a unique design can be created to fit your site and your needs.
WikiHouse components can be rapidly assembled on site by almost anyone, even without conventional construction skills, to millimetre precision.
The innovative WikiHouse construction method begins by using a CNC machine to efficiently cut ply or OSB into specifically designed components, these combine to form structural blocks that can be assembled by hand and easily lifted into place, where they interlock with each other to rapidly form the floor, wall and roof sections of the building superstructure.

Wikihouse have a cost estimator on the main WikiHouse Website. Local materials and labour costs in Ireland can vary, but this tool is a good starting point to check if it could be economically viable for you.
